All of Faren’s sessions are virtual, please ensure that you have a cellphone, laptop, desktop, or tablet with a working camera, microphone, and audio and also ensure that you are in a private and confidential space or a place where you will feel comfortable sharing. You will receive a video call link about 30-minutes prior to our session. If you are booked for EMDR, you will receive a separate link and instructions for accessing the bilateral software.

Faren is currently accepting new patients. However, if you are having difficulty finding a suitable time or day for regular appointments, please add yourself to the waitlist (button is below the schedule) to request a specific time outside of the standard available hours. If Faren is able to accommodate your request, she will notify you as soon as possible. Please note that this option is only available for regular, ongoing bookings, meaning weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly sessions that remain consistent for a minimum of three months.

Individual Counselling & Psychotherapy
Counselling and psychotherapy provide steady, thoughtful support for navigating real life challenges. EMDR Therapy
EMDR therapy helps individuals process and resolve the impact of traumatic or overwhelming experiences. In online sessions, the therapist carefully guides the client through bilateral stimulation, while briefly revisiting distressing memories. This process supports the brain’s natural ability to reprocess what was stuck, reducing emotional intensity and helping the memory settle in a healthier way. The goal is not to relive the trauma, but to restore stability, clarity, and a sense of internal safety.
Couples
Couples therapy provides a structured and respectful space for partners to slow things down, speak honestly, and address what is no longer working. The focus is on identifying harmful patterns, strengthening communication, and restoring trust through clear, guided conversations. Whether a couple is facing ongoing conflict, recovering from betrayal, or wanting to build a healthier foundation, the work emphasizes emotional safety, responsibility, and lasting relational change rather than quick fixes.
Kids/Teen Sessions (9-18 years old)
Our online sessions are designed to meet children and teens with care, structure, and respect for where they are emotionally and developmentally. For ages 9-15, virtual play and talk therapy combines conversation with creative, age-appropriate tools to help young people express emotions, build confidence, and work through challenges such as anxiety, family changes, or school-related stress in a safe and engaging setting.
For ages 15-18, Teen Talk sessions offer a calm, judgment-free space to explore emotions, relationships, identity questions, and faith-related concerns. With the guidance of a steady and attentive therapist, teens develop emotional awareness, practical coping skills, and relational insight as they move toward adulthood.
Whether through play, story, or honest conversation, the focus is on helping each child and teen grow in resilience, clarity, and healthy connection.
Family Counselling & Psychotherapy
Family therapy provides a structured and collaborative space for families to address conflict, improve communication, and strengthen relationships as a whole. The work focuses on understanding patterns within the family system, slowing reactive dynamics, and creating room for each person to be heard with respect. Through guided conversation and intentional intervention, families can process transitions, heal from relational wounds, and develop healthier ways of relating. The goal is greater stability, mutual responsibility, and long-term growth together rather than surface-level peace.
Coaching
Coaching that is structured focuses on achieving specific goals within a set timeframe, providing clear strategies and accountability. It targets 2-3 key topics, offering practical solutions and measurable progress through focused sessions.
